Getting There

Airlie Beach is located in North Queensland approximately 1,100km north of Brisbane and 700km south of Cairns. It is serviced by two domestic airports- the Whitsunday Coast Airport on the mainland at Proserpine, 40kms inland from Airlie Beach, and the Great Barrier Reef Airport located on Hamilton Island. Transfers from each are easily arranged - either by road, sea or more spectacularly, via Air Whitsundays.
